Personal:

I have been running every sense I started middle school at Orem Jr. high then went on to high school at Mountain View.  In college I ran one semester at BYU-HAWAII then went on a LDS Mission to Portland, Oregon.  After the mission I went to SUU and then after college I thought I could become a sponsored triathlete but I swam like a brick.  Finally after two years of trying to be an elite triathlete I found my love for running again and am putting all my training into half marathons and marathons.  I have just started volunteering at my old high school as an assistant coach and loving it.  Go Bruins!!!

Oh man what a week.  Ended on a really good run.  Ran up hobble creek canyon and had to turn around at 66mins30secs because of snow but it was still past the starting line of the half marathon, I think.  Came back in 57mins59sec.  I didn't start my run by the finish I started over by the fishing pond before the golf course.  According to the website that tracks my runs in was 9.79miles long but they don't measure vertical miles but still accurate enough for me.  Body was starting to shut down the last 2.5miles.  I guess be out all day at a track meet and then skipping lunch doesn't help.  Before the run I drank 20oz bottle of gatorade and a Cliff shot at the top that really helped out a ton.  Well the total running this week was 7hrs48mins22secs, 6.26/mile
