Personal:

I have been running every sense I started middle school at Orem Jr. high then went on to high school at Mountain View.  In college I ran one semester at BYU-HAWAII then went on a LDS Mission to Portland, Oregon.  After the mission I went to SUU and then after college I thought I could become a sponsored triathlete but I swam like a brick.  Finally after two years of trying to be an elite triathlete I found my love for running again and am putting all my training into half marathons and marathons.  I have just started volunteering at my old high school as an assistant coach and loving it.  Go Bruins!!!

Had a really good sat. long run.  Wasn't quite as long as last sat. but a good pace.  15.15mile 1hr35mins, 6.16/mile  Total for the week 7hrs15mins4secs, 6.10/mile.  This week was my intense week in preparation for the moab half marathon.  Next week not quite so intense.  My left achillies has been bothering and can't quite get it to go away, been heating before the run w/ stem and icing it after the run.  I just tried hill raises today and they seemed to work alright.  Anybody got any other suggestions on healing up achillies?

Alright race.  Frustrated that I didn't obtain the goal but pleased on how I finished the race after feeling like I was forcing my stride to open up the first 5k and new that my stride wasn't as fluid as the Painters half.
