Personal: I have been running every sense I started middle school at Orem Jr. high then went on to high school at Mountain View. In college I ran one semester at BYU-HAWAII then went on a LDS Mission to Portland, Oregon. After the mission I went to SUU and then after college I thought I could become a sponsored triathlete but I swam like a brick. Finally after two years of trying to be an elite triathlete I found my love for running again and am putting all my training into half marathons and marathons. I have just started volunteering at my old high school as an assistant coach and loving it. Go Bruins!!! |

| Orem water tower run - 1st part of the run was in 7.48 thats to the top of the hill by the white trail post then from trail post to gate-14.47, gate to top of hill-5.57, top hill to turn around point-3.30, reverse splits- 3.14, 5.38, 13.28, 6.17. I went out in 32.04 and came back in 28.38. Felt nice and strong coming back. It hurt a little but a pace I new that I could manage. 60min run 4.5 out 4.5 in |

| DId the Murdock Canal. Went out in 33.09, 6.15/mile . Came back in 31.04 5.51/mile. Couldn't maintain the last 2.5 miles but still pushed it. went for 64mins 14 secs, 6.03 per mile. Getting closer to my goal race pace. boo ya! |

| heavy snow fall today so the intensity wasn't their but went longer. Time was 71.5 mins about 7.15/mile. Still a good work out. You use different muscle when you run in the snow. |

| Went for a run on the orem water tower trail and the 1st 25 min was fine then the trail wasn't plowed anymore so then I was trudging through a foot a snow for about 35 mins then dropped into provo canyon on a nice paves bike path for the next 26 min and only went for 9 miles in 76min, 8.27/mile I don;t think that is bad for how deep the snow was. I should probably wait tell all the snow is gone before I try that run again. |

| Nice solid with a good friend to help me maintain a solid pace running at 6.30/mile and about are 7th mile we did a 5.30 mile. Felt great to open up the stride and let it fly. Plus it was snowing and the sidewalks wore a little slippery. All in all it was a great day of running. |

| Ran on the other side of utah lake from my parents new home. 1st 2 and a quarter miles went around 6.25 pace then started paying attention to the mile markers and it went like this 6.10, 6.10, 6.00, 5.55, 5.50, 5.45, 5.41, 6.44 + about 3 tenths of mile to my parents house UP HILL :) 66.5min run, 5.59/mile. Well it was a good run and ready for the 14 miler tomorrow at 6.45/mile. Merry Christmas Everyone. Hope you all had a great run. |
