Personal: I have been running every sense I started middle school at Orem Jr. high then went on to high school at Mountain View. In college I ran one semester at BYU-HAWAII then went on a LDS Mission to Portland, Oregon. After the mission I went to SUU and then after college I thought I could become a sponsored triathlete but I swam like a brick. Finally after two years of trying to be an elite triathlete I found my love for running again and am putting all my training into half marathons and marathons. I have just started volunteering at my old high school as an assistant coach and loving it. Go Bruins!!! |

| calves tightened up with'n the first three mins. It think it was from playing basketball last thursday for the first time in 10 years also probably because it was my 2nd time runninf sense the injury but i pushed through the pain and went for 32 mins. |

| Well it's been a while but I am still training just not running. Been doing a lot of biking and swimming. Every time I bike my legs are screaming at me to run but I have perpisley have held off and going to finally give them there chance in the salem springs tri this weekend. | went on a 4 mile mourning run with brett to go check out the course and they still had not finished it. probably went 6:15-6:20 mile pace it was pretty cold in the mourning. by the way it was really a crappy course to hold a high school championship race. then went 4x 1 mile repeats back forth on the course between the mens and womens race. But all in all it was a good day for the MVHS CC team they both finished 3rd and know we wait to see if they get an at-large bid for nationals. Just a side note utah had 4 teams in the top 5. ough and i was babying my foot all day achilies still hurt. wow talk about jumping all over the place good thing i'm not an english major. |

| Orem water tower run - 1st part of the run was in 7.48 thats to the top of the hill by the white trail post then from trail post to gate-14.47, gate to top of hill-5.57, top hill to turn around point-3.30, reverse splits- 3.14, 5.38, 13.28, 6.17. | Went for a run on the orem water tower trail and the 1st 25 min was fine then the trail wasn't plowed anymore so then I was trudging through a foot a snow for about 35 mins then dropped into provo canyon on a nice paves bike path for the next 26 min and only went for 9 miles in 76min, 8.27/mile I don;t think that is bad for how deep the snow was. I should probably wait tell all the snow is gone before I try that run again. |

| Nice solid with a good friend to help me maintain a solid pace running at 6.30/mile and about are 7th mile we did a 5.30 mile. Felt great to open up the stride and let it fly. Plus it was snowing and the sidewalks wore a little slippery. All in all it was a great day of running. |

| Ran on the other side of utah lake from my parents new home. 1st 2 and a quarter miles went around 6.25 pace then started paying attention to the mile markers and it went like this 6.10, 6.10, 6.00, 5.55, 5.50, 5.45, 5.41, 6.44 + about 3 tenths of mile to my parents house UP HILL :) 66.5min run, 5.59/mile.
